Job description

A market-leading innovative organisation requires a Contract Compliance Audit Manager to join their industry-leading team on a homeworking basis. This a key role managing and leading a team of auditors and analysts in providing audit data analysis, test work and claim writing while managing important client and supplier relationships.

The role focuses on managing the assessment of their Clients, Supplier compliance to the Financial Terms & Conditions of contracts utilising a customised audit methodology. Following, analysis and substantive testing of acquired relevant billing records and other backup data from the party under audit, you will be required to quantify any financial variances indicating actual or potential overcharging to producing a Report for the Client.

The role is a 100% homeworking position to be based anywhere in the UK - offering a large commission.

Your responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work easily and constructively with customers, suppliers, internal colleagues, and staff. Demonstrated excellence in customer (external or internal) management a strong plus.
  • Audit Technical Execution: Demonstrated background in audit technical skills, including audit program development and planning, execution techniques, communication of findings, vetting issues identified, claim and report writing.
  • Data Analytics: Must be extremely comfortable and experienced in use of Excel any knowledge of data analytics tools, such as ACL and/or IDEA and an understanding of data structure in major ERPs is very helpful.
  • Audit Production Management: Exceptional ability to handle multiple projects, ensuring the smooth flow of work scheduling, assigned available resources while meeting committed timelines.
  • Team Management & Development: Hiring, training, and managing a high-performance virtual team of auditors/analysts associates and data analysts. Experience with Off-Shore resources a big plus.
Skills & experience

  • Experience in contract compliance, or other closely related financial audit (Internal Audit, Retail Audit, Recovery Audit, Royalties Audit, Procurement, etc)
  • Good Excel skills - define financial variances, collect and extrapolate data, establish facts, and draw accurate, valid conclusions.
  • Experience of accounting systems (SAP, JDE, Oracle, etc) with an emphasis on P2P, and Accounts Payable.
  • Some experience in understanding and assessing operational processes and internal controls, including defining practical recommendations for improvement.
  • A quick learner with a background in audit service delivery with experience in client relationship management as well as audit production management.

Salary & benefits

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + large commission
