Head of Commercial Finance

A highly acquisitive, globally renowned FMCG organisation based in Surrey are looking for a Head of Commercial Finance. This hire will provide expert financial and commercial advice to their sales and marketing channels, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis. This is a hybrid role headquartered in Surrey.

• Accountable for all financial aspects of client driven activities – P&L analysis, through gross margin, and commercially focused Opex
• Developing and implementing financial strategy and operations.
• Analysis to improve commercial outcomes within the business e.g. product and client profitability analysis
• Leading a team of Finance Business Partners that interface with a huge sales and marketing function
• Budgeting and forecasting - complete month-end reforecast through engaging across departments
• Assist with Board Pack Reporting and additional financial analysis as requested by the business
• Proactive and forward looking to establish a best-in-class finance function by improving processes and workpapers

• Qualified (ACA or CIMA)
• FMCG exposure
• Capable of mentoring and developing others
• Engaging and excellent communication skills
• Experience in process implementation and business transformation
• High emotional intelligence, with the ability to effectively partner with department leads
• Ability to be dynamic and operate both as part of a team and autonomously when necessary
• Extremely analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
• A clear record of achievement and career progression to date
